One Size Doesn’t Fit All
Over the last 20 years the study of product development has greatly expanded execution methodologies at world-class companies. ThreeCore’s team is experienced with a range of systems from highly-structured, gated programs to incubator-style development. Each system has unique advantages and disadvantages that change depending on the competitive environment our clients face. Our consultants work with engineering management to assist them in developing or modifying their product development approach to meet new challenges. Our goal is to structure and document an approach to product development that can be leveraged on multiple programs.
A couple of years ago, one of our many opportunities was in the area of supply chain management. Tom and his team presented a detailed outline of the project to include deliverables and costing. The project was a supply chain consolidation, complicated by the fact it crossed to independent factories with all the associated cultural issues. ThreeCore was extremely organized, consultative in their approach, and exceeded my expectations for deliverables and cost.
