Organizational Restructuring

Shifting Locus of Decision Making

We needed to put together a materials management plan that took the load off our supply chain team. Over the last few years we had invested heavily in automation software. These investments enabled us to roll out new supplier programs in a seamless fashion. ThreeCore’s team helped us implement these solutions by blending organizational changes with new workflows that transformed our group.

Most companies restructure their organization as they transition through different stages of growth and product life-cycle. In early stage technology companies, the engineering department sets the pace while, in a company participating in a mature market, finance is often the focus of the major decisions.

When these transitions occur, they can painfully shift the locus of decision-making within an organization. Frequently this creates issues that are not addressed until a crisis ensues. At best it causes inefficiencies and inhibits necessary communications. ThreeCore works with companies to anticipate these issues by helping clients assess the social impacts of change, evaluating the talent in the company and making recommendations that support successful transitions.
